According to AbbVie, the expanded advisory board will help guide SkinMedica’s research strategy, supporting the development of next-generation technologies designed to improve skin health by targeting the biological mechanisms underlying ageing and regeneration. The company says the board will provide scientific expertise to help translate advances in regenerative biology into future skincare innovations. 

AbbVie also owns Allergan, a global aesthetics company, highlighting the strategic importance of regenerative science across its broader aesthetics portfolio.
