Evolus Launches Estyme® Hyaluronic Acid Filler Range Across Europe
07/05/2025 • by The RAM Institute
Evolus has expanded into the European dermal filler market with the introduction of its Estyme® injectable hyaluronic acid (HA) gel portfolio, marking a significant milestone in the company’s strategy to become a multi-product aesthetics business.

The launch follows CE Mark certification under the European Medical Device Regulation (MDR), enabling commercial distribution of the collection across Europe.
The Estyme® portfolio comprises four injectable HA gels: Estyme® Smooth, Estyme® Form, Estyme® Lips and Estyme® Sculpt. While Smooth and Form are already marketed in the United States under the Evolysse® brand, Estyme® Lips makes its commercial debut alongside Estyme® Sculpt, which has launched in Europe ahead of anticipated US FDA approval later this year.
Developed by Symatese, the products utilise the company’s proprietary Cold-X® technology, which is designed to preserve the natural structure of hyaluronic acid during manufacturing. According to the company, this approach aims to deliver long-lasting, natural-looking aesthetic outcomes.
Estyme® Sculpt has been developed for mid-face volumisation, one of the most commonly requested treatment indications in aesthetic practice, while the wider portfolio is intended to provide practitioners with a comprehensive range of fillers for multiple facial indications.
David Moatazedi, President and Chief Executive Officer of Evolus, described the launch as an important milestone for the company. He said, “With the commercial launch of Estym®, we are entering a new phase of growth as a multi-product aesthetics company in Europe. We are especially excited to introduce Estyme® Sculpt to practitioners, a product we believe has the potential to become a leader in mid-face volumising treatments.”
He continued, “By pairing this innovative technology with the commercial strength we’ve built with Nuceiva®, we are uniquely positioned among several companies with a neurotoxin and filler portfolio.”
Dr Benji Dhillon, cosmetic surgeon and founder of Define Clinic, said the introduction of the new filler range would provide practitioners with greater treatment flexibility.
He said, “The Cold-X® technology is designed to preserve the integrity of the hyaluronic acid, which is important when aiming for refined, natural-looking outcomes. Having a versatile range of gels that can be used across different treatment areas gives practitioners greater flexibility and confidence in delivering personalised results for patients.”
According to Evolus, the HA gels have demonstrated favourable clinical performance in US pivotal studies conducted under the Evolysse brand, with Form and Smooth achieving both non-inferiority and statistical superiority compared with a leading comparator in head-to-head trials. Estyme® Sculpt is expected to become available in the US following anticipated FDA approval later this year.
